I USED to be totally against HOAs but more n more, I'm ALL for them. People have become so damned sorry. On my walk this morning, I noticed DOZENS of yards that looked like dung! Money is no excuse because several of the yards had $50,000 + vehicles in the drive way. ALL the time, I see so many BOO HOO stories of people wanting to buy a home. WHY? More than likely, it'll be run down in months! When I was a kid, EVERYONE used to have pride in their yards. You could count four blocks and MAYBE find 2-3 yards that were in need of care. Also, at the far end of my walk, there was a yard with the entire front yard covered with CRAP for sale. It has been there for two weeks. THIS is the exact reason I'm scared as hell to invest in upgrades to my house. I'm so sick of POS Morons that kill neighborhoods.
