I would say - 'sacred' - is a breakfast consisting of eggs, bacon, hash browns, biscuits (gravy an option)... a few other side dishes are optional as well.
Why? Because not only does it 'taste' like it came directly from heaven but it's also EASY to cook. Anyone can do it, meaning me. Oh sure.. a real cook, (chef), can work wonders with that breakfast and humiliate me but the point is: even not prepared by an expert eggs, bacon, hash browns, and biscuits are as good as it gets.
Not as often as I would like I occasionally have eggs, bacon, hash browns, biscuits, for dinner. Currently my favorite restaurant for eggs, bacon, hash browns and biscuits is "Black Bear Diner"... sorry for you guys east of the Mississippi... no Black Bear Diners in your neck of the woods.
HOWEVER... I'm sure you have your own breakfast places as good, or nearly as good. There ARE some Mom & Pop places that top Black Bear... I recall a cafe near Bowling Green, Kentucky where I considered 'Knighting" the chef... he deserved it. - JamesJM
