Once you begin a gig.... compared to drums how do conditions affect your tuning? IOW... (and I won't try to list everything that can affect tuning)... how many songs can you typically get thru and remain in tune? Obviously that can vary.... outdoor vs indoor for example.
I think drums are less vulnerable to conditions that can tweak you out of tune - STILL vulnerable but I'm guessing a little less that guitars.
Even indoors can affect the tuning of my drums but I notice it a lot more during outdoor gigs as the temperature drops. While playing I keep a drum key readily available and can tweak a drum, or even more than one drum, in seconds between tunes.... not so easy on a guitar ALTHOUGH most of the guitar players I've played with will make adjustments between nearly every, maybe every, tune.... by ear of course. - JamesJM
