I sleep like a ROCK since being retired. 35 and a half years as a Firefighter...

Made a freaking train wreck of my sleep habits. Ironically, I slept better as a youngster on the Fire Dept. But with age, if I went to bed before Midnight / 1 AM...If we'd catch just one call before 3-4 AM, it would take me forever to get back to sleep. I think it got really bad when I made Engineer ( Driver) because when driving, you better wake up NOW when that tone goes off. I mean physically and mentally because you have to know where you are going and get there quick. My last 10-15 years, I was getting used to 3 hours or less every shift. These days, staying up till 10 PM is toooo late. I'm usually crashed by 9:30.

LOLOL There's a reason why I REALLY bit** about "Prime Time" Rams games.

NOT a fan of the time changes. I REALLY do not like pushing clocks forward.

About 15 years ago, I had a freakish window of 2-3 rs per night that lasted 7-8 months.
