Was recently awarded the highest praise for undergraduate educational achievement at UCONN-the "University of Connecticut Scholar" . This means he will not have to complete his senior year requirements (he already did that in freshman year) and concentrate on research and teaching. It also means he will be able to do graduate work and post doc studies at a prestigious university that focuses on physical sciences (Yale, Columbia, UC Berkley, University Washington, etc. )
And still downhill racing for UCONN in the winter.
