Lost my Dad to that hideous disease. My dad was an amazing singer, it was really sad the first time he tried to sing but couldn't remember the words. That disease is so brutal on the loved ones. I was my dad's primary care giver for the last 18 months of his life and it left some scars. For a while it left me with some PTSD, for about a year after he passed I had horrible nightmares about taking care of him. I remember about a year after he passed I was at my local butcher shop when a man and his wife and son walked in. The wife was in the mid stages and I had to just walk out and go set in my car for ten minutes balling my eyes out.

There can be some sweet or humors events like the one in the video but they are few and far between. I remember a family friend that we lost to alzheimer's had a son that was, well if you crossed a used car salesmen with a lawyer that would describe what his son was like. One time he was setting talking to his dad and afterwards his dad went into the kitchen, walked up to his wife and said, "I don't know who that guy is but he's full of $hit". LOL smiley
