leaving in about 2 hours for the long drive to LA. Tomorrow night Toto and Christopher Cross in concert at the Hollywood Bowl. I'm excited.

NOT, however, about being in LA. Sorry LA people... I'm not putting LA down here it's just that I'm a country hick and there is no comfort for me being in LA. I chose a hotel outside of LA.... in Valencia next to Magic Mountain Theme Park which is STILL too congested for me but a hell of a lot better than anything near the Hollywood Bowl.

I hear they serve drinks at your seat in the Hollywood Bowl. That's a new one for me. Love to take advantage of that BUT... not sure I can afford it. What do you think an "Old Fashion" will run me at the Hollywood Bowl? My guess it will make a beer at Sofi seem a great deal.
