Frank is doing great! He has no new health issues and is probably healthier than I am. He is an active participant in an Amputee Support Group. He still goes to the gym 5 days a week, mows the yard, tends to our container garden, and is patiently waiting along with me for the regular football season to start (NCAAF and NFL). We've become homebodies in our old age but we don't mind. We watch a ton of tv together which we thoroughly enjoy. Right now we're watching The Good Fight, Third Watch, Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, Shooter, Bones, and Frasier (the original).
We just spent the summer taking care of Everett, our 8 yr old grandson, every day, and hauling him to summer school, swimming lessons, and dance classes. He's been taking ballet, jazz, and hip-hop dance classes for a year. The dance studio had a big recital in May and Everett did so good well. Here's a pic of us after the recital with Everett in his hip-hop costume. Everett is on the autism spectrum so he has some learning challenges. Even so, he is thriving and we are so proud of him.
