Bought my first ever Red Ryder BB gun

Bought my first ever official Red Ryder Carbine Action 200-Shot Range Model Air Rifle with Sun Dial and Compass In The Stock

I was wandering around Walmart to day , unsupervised , and there it was , a official Red Ryder Carbine Action 200-Shot Range Model Air Rifle with Sun Dial and Compass In The Stock

for 24 bucks

I and I was like yea , what the heck , hard to believe I've never bought one before , they always have large displays of them during Christmas , and I always thought , I should get me one of those , but never did

well , until today , my local Walmart still had some of the Christmas Wish Edition , which is different then the regular Edition , the Christmas Wish edition has the Sun Dial and Compass In The Stock , where the regular ones don't

The BB gun I had as a kid was a Daisy 1884 Winchester Model , which I think looks cooler ,but not quite as powerful as the Red Ryder

but that old Daisy 1894 Winchester got some use out of it , and I still have it ,

The Red Ryder is smaller , but packs a little more punch , at about 350 fps vs 300 fps

which is still pretty mild compared some pump BB guns that can do 1,000 fps

well , fellas , think im'a gunna head out back and see if there are any creeping Marauders burrowing through the back yard
