and from reports produced a very realistic performance... even though the movie itself wasn't always accurate. I didn't care for Costner much in the early90's. Quaid should have won an Oscar. He seems to put himself into his roles. For Doc Holliday he obviously did a lot of study and lost weight, etc. to play the role... Accent was questionable but I was fine with it. Every scene he had demanded attention... but then its a good role.
