I probably would of liked Gladiator if not for the awful cinematography. The whole film was dark and all the action scenes were filmed with fast cutting (only holding a scene for 3 seconds or less) that many directors were doing back then. To me its like watching a strobe light. Plus Joaquin Phoenix supposed acting prowess is lost on me.
