I’m embarrassed to say it, but “Apocalypse Now.” I love Francis Ford Coppola, I love the cast, I love war movies but I just can’t get into “Apocalypse Now.” I rewatched it two years ago hoping that my increased age would provide me with some wisdom and an open mind that would allow me to embrace this movie like so many others have embraced it, but alas I just could not get into it. I don’t really have an explanation. I apologize.
EDIT: I also liked the book
Heart of Darkness, by all accounts I should “Apocalypse Now,” but I don’t.
