not sure I understand what's going on..... Peacock can be viewed in any browser. On your TV I can't imagine it's not being available as an app. I've seen it on FireStick, AppleTV, Roku.... and I think it would very odd that even if not originally on your smartTV an update should have added it... have you just tried updating your TV?
