I own the entire series on DVD , so it might have been one of the bonus features ???
the car was supposed to be a green Camaro, the creator / writer of the show owned a green Camaro at the time , and wrote that into the original pilot script , but at the time , ABC had a contract with Ford , hence the reason Charlies Angels all drove Mustangs and Bosley drove a Thunderbird , and so David Starsky's green Camaro became a red and white Grand Torino

Paul Michael Glaser hated that car , said it didn't have enough power to get out of it's own way , and tried to wreck when ever he could ...........lol
