first time in several years

and probably not one you would think of

an old red 10 speed bicycle

there is a old British TV comedy show that I love , probably my favorite show of all time

Last Of The Summer Wine

it was on the air for 37 years , from 1973 - 2010 , making it one of the longest running TV shows ever , 295 episodes

the short description of the show ...........

it's about 3 retired men , with to much time on their hands..................lol

but over the 37 years , it lost a few cast members , and gained several more , so the show kind of evolved as more and more characters were introduced , but still about a bunch of senior citizens , with to much time on their hands....................lol

in 1985 , a character named Howard joined the show and stayed until the end in 2010 , and with Howard , came his red bicycle , as he was always trying to sneak away from his wife Pearl

I've watched this show so many times , it's pretty much on a constant loop in my house , so I've watched Howard trying to sneak away from his wife now hundreds of times now

so we were in Hobby Lobby today and I saw this model , and just couldn't resist

I thought the spokes were a little bright , so I got them in the basement drying as I painted them a little darker grey

I have been building since 1974 and I don't think I ever saw a bicycle model!
