Unfortunately I don't know all the specifics... but I do know the 'main' goof. 21Dog no doubt heard about it and he may know more.
In a high school playoff game this last Friday (might have been Thursday).... Torres (a local HS) threw a pass caught by their center... he was ineligible. The officials ruled it a TD. They then left the field but huddled up, (from what I hear), and realized the pass was caught by an ineligible receiver at which time they informed both HC's.... but the game had ended.
The ruling agency for HS in these parts, (CIF), reviewed and said the result stands. Shafter, (small school), is out... having lost to a TD caught by an ADMITTED, by all parties which includes Torres, ineligible receiver . - JamesJM
