Re: Former US first lady Rosalynn Carter has died at 96

Jimmy Carter has been in hospice since February but is still hanging on. I've never known anyone go into hospice for that long. Rosalynn went into hospice Thursday or Friday. My brother was in hospice care for about a week before he died. Just from what little I know, seems like most people are in hospice a few days or perhaps a few weeks before they pass. Months just seems out of the norm to me.
