Like I said, my Wife LOVES "Friends" and several years ago, we saw an interview with him. The poor guy looked BEAT! He was trying to walk the line but you could tell Demons were wearing him down. Depression and alcohol abuse has really been brutal to my family. It even took out my best friend. So I always love to see success stories when ANYONE beats either or both. Not too long later, I saw him on Good Morning America and he really looked and sounded MUCH better. I thought maybe he had turned the corner. Then maybe just a year or so ago, my Wife and I saw a "Friends" Cast Reunion interview. Something was off. Perry hardly said anything at all and just looked out of sorts and beyond his years. Sad this happened to him but at least he is free of his pain.
We don't know yet what happened to him, though. Maybe it wasn't drugs or alcohol. He could have had a heart attack, an aneurysm or a stroke while in the tub.
Any of those things could have incapacitated him in the water and caused the drowning. I'm just going to wait for an official report.
