Not sure buzz is the right term but its funny how all the media mimics each other in regards to the use of certain phrases. I probably see it most in sports media but I see elsewhere as well. I remember the first time Madden said "smash mouth", it didn't take long before everyone was using that phrase. A few years back, not sure who used the phrase "maturation process" and it took less then week for all the talking heads to start using it. And now weather men with "atmospheric river". Think I head that for the first time a couple years ago, now it seems every time we get a good rain its an "atmospheric river".
