He owned the land next to the ranch my uncles owned on Point Sal, by Santa Maria.... I have not seen him in years.

I'm not sure he had/has anything to do with the restaurant but I do know his family members run it. I had forgotten about the restaurant, (Ive eaten there), and when I did a search for seafood restaurants I saw it and wanted to go there BUT... my grandson's overruled me.
