NEXT time, your Wife or cat might not be so lucky. In my Firefighting career, I saw toooooo many people who have ZERO business owning any animals much less dogs that can kill other animals or people. I LOVE animals but will take out any dog trying to harm what is mine. And like James said, I have responded to tooooo many calls triggered by "sweet" dogs that "never hurt anyone". For their own good, I'd lay into those neighbors. Next time, it will be a small child. I have ZERO sympathy for people who do not secure dangerous animals. There's a reason why shelters are slammed and there are sooooo many ferile animals running around......%^&% IDIOT Pet owners!
