Interesting

My experience is quite the opposite. Most dog owners I come in contact with are genuinely good people who are respectful of others and their pets. It's those people who would never own a dog that I find troublesome. OTOH there are some "dog owners" who should never have a dog. They have no idea about the responsibilites that come with ownership-and not just to other people but to the dog itself.
