My wife stayed up after I went to bed -"just in case". When I went to bed the wind had calmed down to nothing and the rain turned into just showers. She said after I went to sleep the wind came back howling-really loud-and apparently we lost electricity three times before she came to bed. I slept through it all.
BTW-when the wind was at its worse earlier in the afternoon I was standing in the doorway watching Pepper (so she wouldn't blow away). She was sitting on the curb apparently enjoying every bit of of it. Floopy ears straight back from the wind. I think looking for ducks.
