As you know I don't believe in UFO's, or Nessie, or Bigfoot, or Yeti, pretty much, actually NONE of them. BUT....
I have never once been put off by those who do... in fact, I like them and get along well with them. Furthermore... I think they serve a valuable purpose. As humans we need that, that attitude. And I really believe that some, (far from all), could very well be proven right one day.
Since I'm not very erudite I can only put it this way.... having read some, quite a bit, of how nearly every important discovery in human history was made nearly always it came from a person who was considered 'out of bounds'. It's in our nature, I think... and to deny it is the actual 'lunacy'.
I don't believe in UFO's.... and I'm very very adamant about that. It's not possible. BUT.....you will NEVER find another person of such conviction who would more love to be proven wrong. PLUS... maybe they WILL prove me wrong... I doubt it but hey, maybe. I say "go for it"... keep it up... I respect them for it.
