The camera angle makes the paws look big. Same reason fishermen hold a fish out in front when photos are taken. My female springer is around 47 lbs and she's 12 yrs old. The males are somewhat heavier so your looking at somewhere in the low or midrange 50lbs.

The one in james photos is a "liver and white". Attractive guy.
