People in bands - and Jimmy can probably back me up on this - will kind of make alliances so that when stuff comes to a vote they will always get their way.. Lots of instances where, in some very famous bands, some people didn't get their way on songs and LPs and sometimes it worked for the best - sometimes it didn't work for the best (I imagined Quint saying that from his Indianapolis speech - "Sometimes they go away.. sometimes they didn't go away.."

So, yeah, there are back alley deals made and "unofficial phone calls" made and whatnot so that people get their way.. I really never wanna deal with that again, so if I put together another band, it'll be a total solo project.. If people wann aplay with me they gotta do things the way I wanna do them.. If I write all the material,nobody's gonna tell me how to present it on LP or onstage.. I'll listen to suggestions and, if someone has a great idea, I'll go with it, but I'm not gonna do anything I'm not comfortable with just so that someone else gets their way..
