Anyone else like before / after photos of historic / old buildings? Saw Motels on Facebook today.

Showed many popular / touristy places from the 50s/ 60s and 70s that were once thriving. Today, most are absolute dumps or abandoned. It's sad to see several of the photos with people by the pools, the grounds well kept and no riff raff around. There's one on the side of Jacksonville where I grew up, that I remember them building when I was 4-5 years old (1971-72) My Grandfather would let me watch the cranes and trucks doing their thing. It would be a very nice Days Inn with a Dennys. In the early / mid 70s, you'd see people sitting by the pool and NORMAL people going to and from the Motel to Dennys. TODAY??? Dennys has been closed for 16-17 years....The Motel is a METH / @#$%& House. Garbage is everywhere and drugged out Zombies roam around. I see that everywhere! Heck, even Myrtle Beach SC (Where my Dad grew up) has several places that USED to be Palaces that are now crap.

Makes me ask.......W....T....F went wrong??? Why must people be such D Bags?? Wanna find a Motel / Hotel these days? If it's older than 5 years, odds are it's a Freak Show.
