It can getting awfully hot onstage.. wearing all that makeup is a challenge cuz it starts running and gets in my eyes, sometimes.. Can't really have fans onstage cuz they blow all the smoke away.. Just hafta grin and bear the heat..
Back in the 80's we always had a spotlight.. Generally it was cold in the clubs we played - people insisted on the AC being cranked in the venues.. So, when the spot light would go on me, it always felt SO warm and good.. Definitely one of my favorite feelings..
