your right-the movie was not about animals eating people. It was more about author Karen Blixen's 17 year relationship with the Kikuyu tribe outside of Nairobi. The book itself focuses less on her limited affair-which ended tragically. The spirit of the Massai's is what I drew from the film -quite extrordinary. The warrior standing on top of the hill at the end was done so magical that it is still in my brain as an all time scene. It beged the question: why was he there?
