the doves outside my bedroom windows. They're coo'ing like always. Not sure why Doves insist that I must be awake by 4:30am.

Question for you... being surrounded by trees is new for me. As you probably know... this was all open ground until VERY recently. Cotton, Barley, Wheat, Alfalfa, Sugar Beets, Tomatoes, Onions.... but today?

Almonds, everywhere... and a few Pistachio's. You live in an orchard, right? Do you have a lot of wildlife near your home? Here it seems like birds, and coyotes, are loving the new trees. I'm seeing more Doves, Owls, hawks, every kind of bird.... also the coyotes I think are about to move into my house, they're so close now.
