As we age the C word comes into our thoughts often,. As I type this I know I will not sleep well tonight because Barb had a CT Scan of her lungs due to the horrific auto accident she had. But, unrelated to the accident, it was discovered she had two significant nodules in her lungs. Independently most are not significant but the size and opacity have caused our internist to request a pulmonologist to review.
Of course we are scared. She is strong. I am weak. I drink to drown my fears, She "carries on".
