I hated that governor with a passion...

when it kicked it it would slow you down a little..... so you had to know where to let off. It was the hardest in the turns because with the increased drag of cornering you had to be more precise.

If I ever did it again I think I'd take the 'ride' with a driver..... which I'd hate BUT at least that way you could experience closer to high speed. - JamesJM
