he found out football isn't the most important thing......What he went through on the field this year, having a losing season isn't as hard on a person as things in the real world of life, death etc......whatever was /is going on within his outside football life. With that thought though, I do think he's coming back as you do.
From fans perspective I get it but we as fans and people have to realize some common sense humanity type things….
1. Newley married away from wife but that’s a given she knows what she signed up for but the mitigating factor would be when she is scared crying alone because her/their family is literally having bombs dropped on their heads daily everyday you probably hope you get a call days go by no contact etc, but her husband not around or being consumed by football …he needs to find balance but how many people could factor in a war. For most it’s just a news story but not in his house.
2, kids????? Probably not possible he is all in on everything right now can he be a husband a dad a son and a coach????
3. All the adversity that consumed him because he may be slightly insane but seriously did he have time to even grieve his grandfather?????
My initial reaction was similar to most one of annoyance drama selfish quitter etc. but that was just a fan then when I thought more about it I’m like wow yes he needs to should search with how he does things but that a lot of stuff to try and juggle.
I don’t think he is a quitter I think he needs to soul search but he seems to be able to find that balance delegate but he should contact or consult with some of the great ones to see how they did it and Dick vermeil I wish would reach out to him. Anyway just some of my own perspective I hate it but I get it
