I think Kingsbury was handicapped in Phoenix…

He was always at the mercy of his GM. And his GM kept making poor personnel decisions one after another.

For example, Murray was grossly over drafted but then the problem was compounded by that obscene extension contract.

That alone would be hard for any HC to overcome.

And yet Keim is still fat and happy in his office and the scapegoat Kingsbury is out on the street. Go figure.
