I haven't been to many sports bars in my lifetime. However, in 2006, RAMbeau and I watched the St Louis Cardinals duke it out against the Detroit Tigers in the World Series from a sports/bar/restaurant not far from where we live. The Cardinals won in 5 games that year and we were at that sports bar to watch games 1,4, and 5. Every television screen in the place was on the game, it was standing room only since every table was packed with rabid Cardinals fans wearing Cardinals red & white gear, people actually listened and watched the game, Budweiser was the drink of the day in the place, and white napkins became impromptu terrible towels. And then... the Cardinals WON. It was the most fun ever.
