Other stupid rules is what constitutes a catch.
The ball can now hit the ground and still be a catch. You can catch it but if you haven't made a move upfield it's still an incompletion. I love listening to the announcers try to make sense of these dumb rules. How about the Defensive holding calls? If you grab a WR before the ball's in the air it's a five yard penalty. If it's in the air it's a spot foul like the guy caught it.
How does that make sense?
