The whole time McDaniels was with the Rams, most of us felt he wasn't doing much more than biding his time in St louis until he could get back to the Patriots. The Rams front office knew it too. After they fired Spagnuolo at season's end, they let McDaniels out of the 2nd year of his 2-year contract if he wanted to go. McDaniels couldn't leave fast enough.
