Yeah, 5th stringers is inaccurate but I used that term because several of our OL were on the street and unemployed by any other team just a few weeks ago.
I’ve never seen an OL coach have to deal with such injuries week after week. Like playing in the late stages of a dodgeball game. And yet after only about 3 weeks together they have gelled sufficiently to play pretty darned well together.
Just ask the Broncos.
