My knowledge is outdated but not too long ago it was well established that playing on astro-turf led to injuries. So-Fi has a new type of synthetic turf but I wonder if it is behind the rash of injuries.
I've really wondered why they went with fake turf knowing that it causes more injuries. Maybe this new turf is not as good as advertised.
James and 43 have made some good observations but I must add that McVay is still a young coach and he has the opportunity to learn, mature, and grow. He definitely has earned the benefit of the doubt.
