I think we, all of us, have a tendency to somewhat diminish past accomplishments when suffering through a year like this. Matt is a damn good QB...at times giving me fits with the chances he takes but in the end capable of all those 'amazing' things I want to see from a Ram's QB.
I think we currently have on display the full range of QB's.. Stafford who can play 'elite', win SB's - - - Baker who has NFL ability but not 'elite' - - - - and Perkins and Wolf who are practice squad capable but little else.
I like a Stafford with Baker backup roster. In this day and age I don't think you can reasonably expect better. But no, I don't think that will happen.... can't see Baker on the roster next year. - JamesJM
