Gator, you have a better memory than I do. I recall seeing that game and that incident, could not remember all of the names, so had to look it up.
Mike Sherman was the GB HC, and Chad Clifton was the GB OL. And, of course, the infamous Mr. Sapp in all of his glory.
I seem to recall that the hit took place no where near the interception, and although no penalty was called, it was nonetheless a blindside and unnecessary. And then to celebrate while the guy was laying on the ground.
And yes, there was quite a verbal exchange between Sherman and Sapp after the game.
