I had been a fan since a kid (1976) and had ALWAYS wanted to see a Rams home game. I HAAAAD to see the Coliseum! SO glad I did! I was at the Saints game. A LOT of Saints fans but I was seated around mostly Rams fans (Two rows from the top of the tunnel) We went to Long Beach and the game. That was it. My Son, who is trying to get into the Navy and like me, is a huge History buff, wanted to see the USS Iowa. From there, we went to that Beach side Park, close to Long Beach. That was very nice. FIRST time I ever saw the Pacific. Cool thing is.....The day before, I drove my boys to Jacksonville Beach, told them to take off their shoes and wade in the water with me. As we stood there, I told them in less than 24 hours, we'd stand in the Pacific. We rode the train from Culver City to USC. LOTS N LOTS of Saints fans on the train. As far as fans at the game go...I no longer think it has much to do with Rams Fan loyalty as much as I think there are some weird things going on with Ticketmaster and dealings with Brokers and travel agencies. I saw TOOO many BLOCKS of seats taken by nothing but Saints fans who you could tell were not together. And I'm talking VERY good seats (Between the 40s on Rams side, 10 rows from the field) I talked to dozens of Saints fans and 95% of them traveled from Louisiana. THAT is Ticketmaster and "Brokers" scratching each other's backs! The game was AWESOME! It SHUT UP the #$%^%$# WHINING by Saints fans STILL griping about the PI no call the year before. I saw four Saints fans dressed like Blind Refs with red tip canes....LOLOL I shouted and pointed...."Boys!! THAAAAT explains why they missed Goff's facemask being grabbed!!" THAT shut them up! But the RAMS fans were AWESOME when Clay Matthews had the hard sack that upended Bridgewater and REALLY went crazy when Kupp took one to the foot yard line from about 65 yards out. It was a trip I'll ALWAYS remember.
