I, too, would love to see Carter get snaps at TE and FB.
As an aside, I think the TE coaching deserves some criticism. Heck, maybe a LOT of criticism. I think even decent coaching should have elevated the play of Hopkins and the departed Blanton at least a little bit and Carter came in with good expectations and yet they won’t let him sniff the field other than on teams. WTH kind of coaching is THAT?
Better chance of crappy talent evaluation than lousy coaching.
When one is disappointed with their meal at a nice restaurant, typically one blames BOTH the steak and the chef.
I think it’s legit to question both the scouting and the coaching.
