When you go through 15 OL and 12 different line combos in 12 games it's not surprising to see all the positions on offense struggle

Before this insanity, the Rams have always been a top 10 offense under McVay....this year is a fluke and an outlier

Some of the names you listed weren't drafted 2-4 and some weren't even drafted

It's hard to argue the Rams failing at anything really, when you consider they've been top 1-3 team in terms of overall success since the McVay era began

Yes, they've made mistakes and aren't perfect in drafts and FA, but no team is and no team ever will be

You’re overreacting, R2K.

Where to start?

1. I had already conceded the impact of injuries, particularly to OL. But does that excuse the Evans stupidity, for example?

2. Yes, McVay’s Offenses have historically been great, but what does that have to do with talent acquisition drop off for several years? Two entirely separate things.

3. You are correct about some players not drafted, especially by Rams. I should have used the word acquired, huh?

4. Yes, Rams have been successful under McVay, but, again, that was never the point. The point is that Rams are not acquiring talent nor are they developing talent as they once were and if that continues then Rams will slide back to a middle of the road team at some point. I’m afraid that it’s already started.

5. Nobody is demanding perfection here. Just demanding a return to the former high standards of talent acquisition and player development. Think of me as the canary in the coal mine. Lol.

I think the overreact is coming from you on this one my friend..

We are talking about arguably the most successful team in the NFL over the last half decade and defending Super Bowl champions

You sound like we're talking about the Fisher years with this stuff....

You don't have the success the Rams have had since 2017 by being bad at drafting or free agent signings.

The enormous and insane amount of injuries isn't an excuse as much as it is just an explanation of what the heck happened in 2022.

Most teams and fans would give their first born for the supposed "issues" we have for the run that we had...

No team or organization is perfect, no team besides the Chiefs has had the success we have had the last five years either...it's hard to complain about, that's for sure.

Barring catastrophic injuries again in 2023, we will be right back in the thick of things without a doubt.
