The Rams have absolutely nothing to lose by making this move. They were going to lose the last 5 games with the QBs they had, now they may win a couple and can evaluate the possibility of having Mayfield as their backup next season. Let's put it this way at least they are making a move to try and improve this team and just not sitting on their hands.
