But it's not like the Rams have to start from scratch. And my thought with the first game was it was basically a pre-season game. But I also agree that the OL was not strong enough to go into the season with. I feel like the Rams were going to sink or swim the OL they had... and they were probably going to barely tread water at best. But once the injuries started they not only sunk but they got buried in the sand.
But if all come back healthy... what do the Rams need? An LT, C... (a few additions by subtraction) and maybe a RB who can keep a defense honest when the play calling is weak or the OL is having a bad day. That would get the Rams into respectable territory IMO. Then a pass rusher. Honestly the defense has kept the Rams in most games, despite the offense putting them in bad spots. So I think the defense could have looked better than we are witnessing. My concern remains Stafford. The Rams go as Stafford goes. If he isn't healthy enough to be Matt Stafford then the Rams will have a hard time being competitive.
