... and we expect he's ready to get significant snaps 10 weeks into his rookie season? That's hardly typical. Now at this point going forward I would imagine he gets more work (3 snaps vs. RZ, 10 vs. NO, etc.). And maybe in a few games he will get some touches. But I think the expectations are a bit skewed with him. He has long-term potential. Let him grow into it.
Our season isn't "typical" this year either. We have an offense that is screaming for play makers. I don't think it's asking too much to put in a little "extra" work with the kid and get him some snaps sooner.
Tutu was a second rounder and he still isn't playing. How many years do we have to wait for an UDFA to play?
IMO, our coaches could be doing a better job getting our "depth" ready to play on both sides of the ball.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
