AR was a so-so journeyman player under his previous team's coaching.
With the Rams, as he said in an interview, his playing weight trimmed down and his play ramped up, he felt inspired and uplifted instead of browbeaten. Result, to quote Greg Gaines from a miked up comment, "Did you see A'Shawn out there? He's playing like a one-man wrecking crew!"
When her heals I'd guess that he'd like to stay with the team that treated him well, gave him the opportunity to rise to his potential. Personally I hope that happens.
