Could you debate Noteboom's value? Sure. But she says look, teams will invest to have a couplesolid swing backups on the OL. They do not prepare nor spend to have quality OL beyond that.
The Rams were entering 2022 with Jackson (who's been their best OL this year), Anchrum and (3rd round pick) Bruss as their top 3 OL backups. A reasonable expectation. Anchrum and Bruss
played a combined 2 snaps this year. And the Rams have had to field
six more OL beyond them...
