Your report fleshes out what most of us were only seeing in part.
Bottom line, I'm wishing for a young QB to take tutelege under Stafford, or a vet backup who can manage the offense while we're still looking for that young QB to develop.
I don't see Perkins or Wolford as that QB to develop nor reliable vet. I see both as cheap stand-ins if we lose the starter for a couple of games - their presence on the team being dictated by (lack of) available money to fund the position.
Colt McCoy played well the other day. How much is he costing the Saints? And how does that compare to Perkins and/or Wolford?
